1. The completed question papers are returned to Cambridge English Language Assessment to be marked.
  2. Results will be issued within six weeks from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
  3. Results are reported in a way designed to provide positive encouragement to the learners. All candidates who complete their test receive an Award, which focuses on what they can do (rather than what they cannot do) and gives the children credit for having taken part in the test.
  4. The Award shows how well the child has done in Listening, Reading/Writing and Speaking.
  5. Five shields means the child did very well in that paper and answered most of the questions correctly. One shield means that the child needs to improve in that paper.
  6. A total of 10 or 11 shields across the three papers means that the child should be ready to start preparing for the next Cambridge level.
