Notes:
	1.		If a typhoon or natural disaster should occur on a scheduled test date, the administration of the test will normally be deferred to the following week or to a later date.
	2.		Depending on the number of examinees and the availability of test rooms, a test might be administered in several sessions on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Requests for a special test date or test session cannot be accepted.
	3.		To register for a test, one can choose to register either online or by mail. Only examinees who have passed the First-Stage Test may take the Second-Stage Test.
	4.		Online registration is available at http://www.gept.org.tw/ during registration periods. However, for the First-Stage tests, the completed online registration form still needs to be printed out, attached with copies of identification and photos, and sent via registered post to the LTTC after paying registration fee within the corresponding registration period. As for the Second-Stage tests, the online registration is completed once the registration fee is paid.
	5.		For mail registration, one should purchase a printed copy of the LTTC GEPT Handbook for Examinees for the Elementary, Intermediate, and High-Intermediate levels and follow the procedures explained in the Handbook. 	6.		The handbook for the Advanced Level is available for download from June 2012.
	7.		A 30% discount on the test fee is offered to senior citizens who are 65 years old or above; and members of low-income families or registrants receiving unemployment benefits may apply to take the test free. Registrants are required to provide the relevant certified documents when applying for a free test.
	8.		The Superior Level is administered upon request of sponsoring schools or institutions and under appropriate conditions.
