LTTC積極和國際學術機構合作，研發專為養成臺灣學生赴外進修必備的學術外語能力課程，並與英、美、澳、香港等地大學團隊合作測驗效度研究，研究成果不僅發表在國際學術研討會、專業期刊與測驗專書等，也在臺灣主辦國際研討會，邀請國際學者來臺發表論文與交流，提升國際對臺灣教育與學術產業的認識。
The LTTC is active in the international sphere when it comes to language proficiency and testing. We work with academic institutions across the world to develop language courses that prepare students in Taiwan for study abroad, and we also conduct extensive research on test validity and metrics in partnership with major universities in locales such as the UK, US, Australia, and Hong Kong. On the research front, the LTTC is a regular contributor to the world’s major academic seminars and journals on language testing. We also host conferences to promote exchanges between local and international scholars and share Taiwan’s experiences in the field.

In 2012, former LTTC Director Professor Tien-En Kao formally marks a partnership with the University of Southampton in the UK, represented by Professor Mark Spearing, then serving in his capacity of Vice-President of the University.

LTTC自行研發的測驗，多年來不僅在國內深具口碑與公信力，也得到國際高度肯定。「全民英檢」除獲國際百所大學學程採認成績，與英國醫學總會(General Medical Council) 肯定品質外，韓、日、越等測驗研發機構更向LTTC取經，汲取成功經驗與技術。2019年底LTTC主編的亞洲語言測驗專書，由國際著名出版社 Routledge出版，進一步提升臺灣品牌測驗的國際能見度。
The tests developed by the LTTC are reputable and credible not only locally in Taiwan but also internationally. The GEPT is currently accepted by the British General Medical Council and 97 universities worldwide as a standard metric for student English proficiency. The LTTC is also widely recognized for language testing in Asia; institutions from Korea, Japan, and Vietnam have reached out to us to gain experience and testing know-how. The LTTC marked a new milestone at the end of 2019 as the editor of English Language Proficiency Testing in Asia, a book published by Routledge. This high-profile publication has furthered Taiwan’s visibility as a leader in language testing.
