About Test
The YLE Tests are a set of internationally-recognized English proficiency tests exclusively designed for children aged 7 to 12. Consisting of three levels of assessment, namely Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers, and A2 Flyers, these tests assess listening, reading, writing, and speaking abilities. The content is presented with many attractive and colorful pictures. The Speaking test is implemented in a face-to-face interview, a setting that creates a more natural and less stressful testing environment for children. Children are encouraged by working toward certificates and earning 'shields' that record their progress.
