The mission of the Language Training & Testing Center (LTTC) is to meet the needs of Taiwan society through research, development and administration of language teaching and language assessment. The LTTC is the only institution in Taiwan that provides courses and testing services in six languages. In addition to developing and administering its own Foreign Language Proficiency Test (FLPT), General English Proficiency Test (GEPT) and several tests for specific purposes, the LTTC also conducts other commissioned examinations such as TOEFL, GRE, JLPT, TestDaF, TOPIK. Keeping in pace with Taiwan’s social and economic development, the LTTC has extended its international cooperation and extensively developed resources in language education and research to meet the needs of language learners.
