Taiwan Delegation Achieves Historic Success – LTTC Proudly Celebrates Triumph at the IOL
The 22nd International Linguistics Olympiad (IOL), hosted for the first time in Taiwan, concluded successfully this month in Taipei. The prestigious event brought together 57 elite teams from 43 countries for vibrant cultural and linguistic exchange. Taiwan's delegation delivered a stellar performance, claiming the only gold and silver medals in the team competition, along with 2 silver, 5 bronze, and 1 honorable mention in the individual rounds—setting a new record for Taiwan's best results in IOL history.
The Language Training & Testing Center (LTTC), a committed advocate for language education, has been sponsoring Taiwan's IOL delegation since the launch of the Taiwan Olympiad in Linguistics (TOL) in 2016. LTTC continues to actively support the development of the Linguistics Olympiad, and proudly celebrates the success of this year's event and the outstanding achievements of Taiwan's participants.
This remarkable accomplishment not only highlights the linguistic talent of Taiwanese students, but also underscores Taiwan's growing impact in language education and international academic exchange.
