Job Title: English Instructor
The Language Training & Testing Center (LTTC) is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Successful candidates may teach up to 14 hours per week, depending on course demand and scheduling arrangements. Applicants must currently reside in Taiwan. Assistance is available for those applying for an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) or a Permanent Resident Certificate (APRC).
Job Description
English instructors will teach general conversation, listening, reading, writing, and ESP courses such as business and academic English, as well as high school courses. We also conduct CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and EMI (English Medium Instruction) workshops in response to the recent 2030 Bilingual Policy. These courses/workshops are taught in-house, offsite, and online.
Places of work
We have two branches, one (LTTC) on the National Taiwan University campus and the second (LTTC-LI) close to the CKS Memorial MRT stop.
Qualifications
(1) Bachelor’s degree (a master’s degree or higher is preferred) approved by the Ministry of Education
(2) Two years of teaching experience are required.
(3) Experience with curriculum design and content development is required.
(4) CELTA, TKT or equivalent teaching certificate is preferred.
(5) Good writing skills are preferred.
